1KW-MAX Hub Motor Kit - Premium High-Performance Hub Motor Package

Introducing the long-awaited 1KW-MAX kit! This enhanced version of our 1000W motor is tailored to support nearly double the power output, offering a significant boost in performance.

To ensure superior durability and efficiency, we've implemented several modifications. Firstly, the motor's interior core and stator are fully waterproofed using insulating motor varnish. Additionally, we've integrated internal ferromagnetic fluid for liquid cooling (Statorade), courtesy of our partners at Grin Technologies.

Furthermore, the controller has been optimized to deliver substantially more power. It is then encapsulated in a thermally conductive epoxy, enhancing heat absorption and dissipation while also providing complete waterproofing for the controller.

The kit also includes a selection of essential components:

Your choice of PAS (Pedal Assist Sensor)
Your choice of brake sensor
A display
Necessary cables and zip ties
We highly recommend using a torque arm for added safety, and our Grin TORQARM V4 is an excellent option (although not necessary if torque arms are already in use).

It's worth noting that this package supports REGEN braking (C14 parameter on display), which can be utilized for added control, especially when dealing with high power outputs. However, it's crucial to employ a robust torque arm setup if opting for this feature.

Please note that you'll need a battery capable of safely delivering 60 Amps of current to fully harness the power of this setup. Our High Discharge variants and XL DP21700 batteries (48V25AH and 52V25AH) are recommended for this purpose. However, it's essential to ensure that your battery can handle such high power levels without tripping the overload protection.

With peak power ranging from 2500W to 3000W, depending on the battery configuration, this kit is compatible with 48V-52V systems, offering unmatched performance and versatility.
